Hello Masters backers and fans!
We at Power Comics wanted to give you an update on The Masters Issue 1.
The plan was to have Issue 1 printed and in your hands no later than April 30th. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have missed that deadline. Issue 1 has indeed been completed but has yet to be printed.
Because we hate over-promising and under-delivering, I have made an executive decision to deliver a digital copy to all Kickstarter backers this Tuesday, May 10th, whether they pledged for one or not.
We are doing this to let the comic book world know Power Comics means business! And, we are NOT in business to let our fans and supporters down.
So keep an eye out for The Masters Issue 1 to be in your email inbox sometime on Tuesday, May 10th.
And, as a special bonus it will contain the first two pages of Issue 2 as a teaser and our way of saying, “Thank You!”
In addition, here are some updates on the remaining four issues which will be spread out over the next few months with the fifth and final issue in your hands sometime in December 2022.
Issue 2 is nearly 50% complete and features the art of Tom Morgan, Greg LaRocque, Pat Broderick, Joe Rubinstein, and Al Milgrom. The tentative Kickstarter launch for this issue will be June 1, 2022.
Issue 3 is over 50% complete and features the art Ron Wilson, Alex Saviuk, Pat Broderick, Joe Rubinstein, and Al Milgrom.
Issue 4 is nearly 100% complete and features the art of Val Mayerik, Alan Weiss, Pat Broderick, Joe Rubinstein, and Andrew Pepoy.
Issue 5 is about 20% complete and features the art of Bart Sears, Tom Grummett, Stephane Roux, Butch Guice, Mark Pennington, and Joe Rubinstein.
Along with The Masters series, we also have several other titles in development that span various genres, including horror, science fiction, suspense, and, of course, super heroes. Stay Tuned!
