Latest Updates from Our Project:

Future Campaigns!
10 months ago – Wed, Aug 17, 2022 at 08:44:48 PM

As you are all aware, we are behind in our original schedule to get The Masters Issue #1 into your hands AND starting the next campaign for The Masters Issue #2.

We have a plan to get us back on track, and we would love to hear your thoughts on what we propose.

Starting with Kickstarter campaign two, we will offer two issues per campaign. Kickstarter 2 scheduled to launch on, or around, September 1 will include not only The Masters Issue #2 and all its add-ons and bonuses, but also Issue #3 and all its add-ons and bonuses.

We will do the same with our Kickstarter for Issues #4 and #5 as well, launching on, or around, October 1.

This should get us back on a schedule that will see us complete the series by the end of the year AND allow us to combine shipping and reduce costs to you, our loyal backers.

So please leave a comment below so we can formulate our plan.

All the Best!

August Update!
10 months ago – Thu, Aug 04, 2022 at 03:00:15 AM

Hi Masters,

The lists are ready to go to Barry at Ka-blam and we should see shipping happening in a few weeks’ time. We are working on a better way to streamline the shipping process, so we can deliver future campaigns by the estimated date. As always, we will keep you posted.

In the meantime, please check out the latest from our friends at Standard comics.

From the Back Issue Bin of a Parallel Universe:

If you're a fan of the George Perez era of the  Justice League of  America and the Avengers, Paul Levitz and Keith  Giffen's Legion of  Superheroes, and Wolfman's New Teen Titans, you  should check out The  Sentinels for a Bronze-Age fix.

Combining my own original characters with updated public domain   superheroes, this homage to the Bronze Age of comics should satisfy the   urge for comics like they used to make.

As the Grim Reaper continues to wrestle with his  own internal  demons, a mysterious figure arrives at Freedom's  Stronghold. UltraMan  and crew continue their Multiversal journey.   Super-villains report to a  secretive figure.

Find out in this action-packed 22-page Bronze-Age style comic book,  The Sentinels "Interregnum"; a great jumping on point for the series!  Guest starring your original characters!!

Thanks to comics fans who backed the previous issues, I'm able to   bring this issue to life on Kickstarter. (I started publishing with   "#267" to imply there is a history dating back to the 60s (kinda like   Big Bang Comics if you will), but there's just these so far. They are   all written to imply a 'Standard Universe' history, but they are   standalone stories.)

Best,

Darrin

Hi Masters,

We still have around 100 backers that have not responded to their survey. We are going to extend the lock date till Sunday, July 17th*, but on that date, we will LOCK orders and get them over to Barry at Ka-Blam for fulfillment. PLEASE, fill out your survey ASAP so we can get the Masters #1 into everyone's hands. If you need help with your survey, please email me at [email protected]

*after July 17th, there may be a delay in getting your books

Please note, we will only lock orders for Masters #1 and not for the Trades as they won't be shipping till after ALL campaigns for single books have completed. We also have not charged postage to those with Trades. That will happen when the time comes for them to ship.

Best,

Darrin

11 months ago – Wed, Jul 06, 2022 at 10:38:27 PM

The last day to make final updates to your order is Tuesday, July 12th. After this date, we will lock your reward selections and  charge cards for add-on item purchases, pledge upgrades, and pre-orders.  You can update your shipping address up until we lock addresses for  shipping. And you can also grab some cool add-ons, like Posters, Action Figures, etc.

If you haven’t answered your survey by July 12th, you can still answer your BackerKit survey or pay for extra shipping after the deadline order due date, we’ll still receive your information but your  shipment may be delayed.

If you need to review your information or pledge status, you can  return to your survey by clicking the link in your survey email or  requesting your survey link under "Lost your survey?" on our BackerKit  project page at https://themasters.backerkit.com

THANK YOU!

Thank you all again for being so responsive to answering our  BackerKit survey—even though it may not seem like much as an individual  backer, you have no idea how tremendously helpful this has been for me  when trying to keep track of all 567 of you!

Thanks everyone for your support!
